Adrian Bosich

Adrian's passion for commercial filmmaking is demonstrated by the heart he brings to his work, where great storytelling, pictures and performances are condensed into enduring moments.

After graduating from film at The VCA, Adrian spent seven years at Exit Films, where he quickly established himself as a reputable director with a solid body of commercial work. His extensive experience in post-production and proven storytelling skills are a rare combination, allowing him to focus on the narrative rather than technical challenges.

He has cast and directed a huge range of talent, from young children and untrained actors through to Australia's most admired stars. The quality of Adrian's work has attracted industry recognition and respect, indicative of the craft, commitment and imagination he brings to every project.

Adrian's haunting Duracell 'Dental Records' commercial was short-listed at the Cannes Lions, and was also a finalist at Award, as was his 'Laughter' spot for Camp Quality.

Adrian's short film, 'Marco Solo', received international acclaim, including awards from festivals around the world. His commercial work continues to attract attention, with his Black Balloons energy-saving campaign receiving multiple award nominations at the MADCs.

Writer Trish Hastings' script explores what happens to tattoos once the bingo-wings set in. Adrian wanted to move away from simply creating a traditional white, gleaming kitchen of the future, wanting to create something quite atmospheric. There was a lot of debate about what would constitute the stirfry of the future, which was resolved once Deb Mclean introduced the evocative Lotus Root!
